He worked at Microsoft as Chief Compete Officer, Director and Architect Adviser, Assistant Vice President in Polaris Financial Technology Ltd. and Technology Director in Kumaran Systems Inc. Before starting to build out Carisma Solutions and Purple Quay, he was the Co-founder and Vice President of big data start-up Indix Corporation. He served as Executive Vice President of the Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce and is now a member of the Board of the same. He is the custodian of the culture and values of the organisation. His leadership has enabled the business to grow successfully and responsibly from being a start-up to a leading business in the industry today. He is always committed to shaping the success of people and businesses. He holds a Master in Physics from St.Joseph's College and EGIMP from IIM-B.

He is a graduate of Vellore Institute of Technology and Stanford University majoring in EPMO. Before joining Carisma, he served as a Director at Cognizant Technology Services (CTS). He joined CTS after a wonderful stint as Global Delivery Head at Tech Mahindra (Mahindra Satyam) and has rich experience working as Regional Distribution Manager, logistics and supply chain at Xerox Modicorp. His expertise is in business transformation leading to customer success and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building world-class teams.

He is a founding partner at HexaCore Global (HCG), a bootstrap Business Process Consulting, HR Consulting and Staffing firm that helps companies to create, re-engineer and rejuvenate business and support processes and address skill gaps efficiently. In the past, Badri has worked in Tata Steel, Tata Power, Infrastructure World, Ramco Systems and Al Suwaidi Group.

He is passionate about driving good corporate governance and practicing sound business ethics in the company.

He holds an MBA in Finance, he is also a Fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants, India and Fellow member of the Institute of Public Accountants, Australia. His key role is strategic client engagements. As the Director of our group companies, he heads the One Business Services, Wealth Management, and Mortgage business verticals. He runs the Carisma Cricket Club and the Bendigo Beats Band, focusing on music, dance, and the arts.

Harish Rao is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience in the Australia-India business landscape. In the year 2000 in Australia, Harish pioneered the concept of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) for accounting & financial services firms through a subsidiary of a major financial services conglomerate based in India. Today BPO services within this industry has become the norm due to Harish’s efforts and he continues to be a thought leader in this space. Prior to this, Harish established the first Australia TGA-approved herbal facility in Kerala and successfully tied up with the likes of Glaxo India to bring herbal supplements to Australia. His dedication to community service saw him holding significant positions in various not-for-profit organizations. Currently, he is a seed investor in the newly established PTP Consulting Group, a firm focused on providing technology solutions using experts with deep industry expertise.
